
Additional fonts installation guidelines
Thai font support

To be able to view the Thai script on non-Thai/English Windows 95/98/NT based system, please apply the following procedures :
- Download the following fonts into a temporary directory, e.g.: c:\temp

- Open the Control Panel (Go to Start -> Settings -> Control Panel), then choose Font
- Choose File -> Install new fonts
- Select/go to the temporary directory where you have downloaded the additional fonts, select all, then click OK
- In Internet Explorer 4.0, select View, choose Internet options, click on Fonts, change Proportional font to Courier ProportionalThai and change Fixed-width font with Courier MonoThai
- In Internet Explorer 5.0, select Tools, choose Internet options, click on Fonts, change Web Page font to Courier ProportionalThai and change Plain text font with Courier MonoThai
- In Netscape Navigator 4.70 or above, select Edit, choose Preferences, click on Appearence -> Fonts, change Variable width font to Courier ProportionalThai and change Fixed width font with Courier MonoThai

Note:
- Altough roman script will be still displayable after the installation of the addtional fonts, the spacing and kerning will be somewhat compressed
- You don't have to download the fonts if your system is already running Windows 95/98/NT Thai version
- You may revert back to the original fonts setting when you have finished viewing the page, and refresh/reload the page.
Vietnamese font support

To be able to view the Vietnamese font on English Windows 95/98/NT based system, please apply the following procedures :
- Download the following font into a temporary directory, e.g.: c:\temp

- Open the Control Panel (Go to Start -> Settings -> Control Panel), then choose Font
- Choose File -> Install new fonts
- Select/go to the temporary directory where you have downloaded the additional font, select the font then click OK
- In Internet Explorer 4.0, select View, choose Internet options, click on Fonts, change Proportional font to .VnTime
- In Internet Explorer 5.0, select Tools, choose Internet options, click on Fonts, change Web Page font to .VnTime
- In Netscape Navigator 4.70 or above, select Edit, choose Preferences, click on Appearence -> Fonts, change Variable width font to .VnTime
